This site belongs to and is run by ddraigdu.
Mrs Norman as ddraigdu is a sole trader and therefore ddraigdu does not have a company number or VAT number.
1. Disclaimer - By using this site, or participating in the courses you signify your assent to this disclaimer and the terms and conditions. If you do not agree to this disclaimer or the terms and conditions, please do not use the site, e-books or use the course materials.
a) The information contained within this website or in the course materials is for educational purposes only. Reiki, Crystal Healing, Ethereal Crystals and any other energy healing modalities promoted here, should be done in conjunction with any and all other healthcare practices you may be using. However, they are not meant as a substitute for proper medical diagnosis and treatment provided by licensed healthcare professionals. It is very strongly recommended that you contact your physician or healthcare specialist if you have any concerns about your health.
b) Practitioners of Reiki, Crystal Healing, Ethereal Crystals and other energy healing modalities do not diagnose conditions, nor do they perform medical treatments, prescribe substances, or interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. ddraigdu does not give advice, treat or provide cures for any medical condition. Furthermore, we do not accept responsibility for anyone who chooses to treat themselves using information contained within the course materials, e-books or website.
c) Runes, Ogham or Crystals used in readings should not be used as the basis for making decisions. Although popular belief has them aiding in decision making they should never be the deciding factor. ddraigdu takes no responsibility for the results of anyone using the Runes, Ogham and/or the information contained on this site, e-books or in the course materials.
d) Mrs Norman and ddraigdu do not accept responsibility under any circumstances for any losses or damages caused as a direct or indirect result of the use or misuse of any information contained within our course materials, e-books, website or through attunements.
e) This website contains links to other websites, the responsibility for those websites is that of the parties who are identified as providing those sites, ddraigdu accepts no responsibility for them or their use or for the content of any other website to which a link to or from this site exists. ddraigdu cannot gaurantee that this website is free of viruses or technical defects of any description and will not be responsible for any technical problems arising from the use of this site, nor will ddraigdu be liable should the website be unavailable for any reason.
f) Please note that due to the nature of the internet, information provided can not be guaranteed to be safe or secure. All information provided to ddraigdu will be used by ddraigdu in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1998 (and subsequently ammended).
g) All Crystals used in my Crystal Jewellery are genuine, they are gifts of Mother Earth. Due to this there may be variations in the shape and colours of the Crystals. Due to the nature of the internet and quality of photography, the colour of some items may appear slightly different in tone to their true colouring. Please note I promote and encourage ethical/fairtrade sourced Crystals. The Preseli Bluestone is legally and ethically mined.
h) The settings are gold or silver plated, and these plated components comply with the recent EEC rules restricting the nickel content. The Stonehenge/Preseli collection is set in sterling silver. All Jewellery is purchased at the customers own risk.
2. Copyright
a) Mrs Norman/ddraigdu asserts her right to be identified as the author of this site, e-books, course descriptions and materials. These are not the standard hand me down notes for the Reiki and Ethereal Crystals courses, they are written and developed by ddraigdu, based on the hand me down notes and a great deal of my own experience and research. Please ask if you require the hand me down notes. All other courses developed, researched and written by ddraigdu.
b) No part of this website, the course desciptions, e-books or materials may be reproduced without prior written permission from ddraigdu. Students with ddraigdu have permission to and are strongly encouraged to keep at least one back up copy of the materials/e-books and their own quizzes and other work, be it on an electronic storage device (for example disc) or on paper. These copies must only be used for personal information though, any other reproductions or distribution must be sanctioned by ddraigdu. The price paid for courses/e-books includes one copy of course materials/e-books, additional copies of course materials/e-books will incur an administration charge, so please do back up your work.
c) ddraigdu reserves the right to alter the specifications and designs of its goods/site/course materials and its price lists and conditions of sale at any time without prior notice. Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights of website, Course descriptions, E-books and Materials remain the property of ddraigdu/Mrs Norman.
d) Abuse of copyright, IP rights or course materials/descriptions, e-books or unreasonable behaviour towards ddraigdu/Mrs Norman by any student past or present disqualifies said student from ongoing support from ddraigdu and from the Yahoo group.
3. Contractual conditions, existence of contracts and contract amendments
a) These conditions shall be incorporated in all contracts for the sale of goods/e-books/course materials by ddraigdu to the exclusion of any terms or conditions referred to by the customer but no contract shall come into existence until ddraigdu has given its written acknowledgement of the customer's order.
b) No amendment of or representation in connection with any contract shall bind ddraigdu unless confirmed by it in writing
4. Prices and Payment
a) The price for the goods shall be as set out on ddraigdu's site and receipt, but ddraigdu reserves the right at its option to charge or credit to the customer the amount of any error or omission in the price as so set out.
b) All invoices unless otherwise therein stated are payable in pounds sterling drawn on a UK bank by cheque payable to "ddraigdu" prior to despatch without any deduction whatsoever
c) The customer shall also pay all legal and other costs incurred by ddraigdu in recovering any amounts owing from the customer and any goods in which title has been retained by ddraigdu.
5. Delivery and Risk
a) Risk in the goods/e-books/course materials shall pass to the customer when ddraigdu or a carrier appointed by ddraigdu makes them available to the customer.
b) ddraigdu will endeavour to meet times advised for delivery but will not be liable for any loss, damage or expense of whatever kind arising from any delay or failure in delivery from any cause whatsoever nor shall such failure or delay entitle the customer to refuse to accept any delivery or repudiate any contract.
c) If the customer fails to take delivery of any goods on the due date or provide adequate delivery instructions ddraigdu may store the goods at the risk of the customer who shall pay all transportation, handling or other charges incurred by ddraigdu as a result of such failure, and ddraigdu shall be entitled to payment as though delivery had taken place.
6. Losses in Transit, etc.
Emails can and do go astray, if you have had no response from ddraigdu within 3-4 working days, please do email me again or write to me at the above address with an alternate email address or telephone number where I can contact you. Due to the inability of email from any aol addresses to reach ddraigdu students are required to use other email providers in undertaking our courses or purchasing our e-books. Also check your account to be sure that my email has not been blocked or restricted in any way.
a) In the event that the customer proves to ddraigdu's satisfaction that any goods sold by ddraigdu were damaged or lost prior to delivery, or were at the time of their delivery defective in materials or workmanship or not in conformity with their description, ddraigdu will either give credit for the invoice value of the goods or replace them free of charge at the original point of delivery, at its own option. Goods should be returned and recieved by me, in their original packaging and in a condition suitable for resale, within 7 days of delivery. Earrings cannot be exchanged or refunded due to current EU Hygiene Regulations. Commissions can not be refunded.
b) No claim for any such goods/course materials will be considered unless the customer has given written notification of the alleged damage, loss, defect or non-conformity to ddraigdu, and where applicable any carrier. In the case of damaged or short delivered goods such notice is required within 3 days from the date of receipt; in the case of defective goods or goods not in conformity with their description such notice is required within 10 days from the date of receipt.
7. Extent of Liability
All goods are purchased at the customers own risk.
a) Except to the extent stated in these conditions ddraigdu shall have no obligation, duty or liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty) or otherwise under or in connection with any contract.
b) Without prejudice to the generality of the condition above ddraigdu shall under no circumstances have any responsibility or liability of whatever kind for:
i) the suitability of any goods/course materials/Crystal/Energy/Ogham/Rune for any particular purpose or for their use under specific conditions, whether or not the customer's requirements were known or made known to ddraigdu. The information given as part of these Courses is strictly for educational purposes.
They are not intended for diagnosing illness, prescription, or advice. Crystal/EnergyOgham/Rune properties shown reflect popular belief and are offered for informational purpose only. Divination is no guarantee of events and must never replace common sense, this information is given for educational purposes only. This information is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition and therefore should not replace proper medical attention. Consult your Doctor or other health care practitioner regarding health issues. ddraigdu is not liable for any use or misuse of this information.
ii) any description or illustrations contained in ddraigdu's online catalogue, price lists or other materials are intended merely to present a general idea of the goods described in them and shall not form part of any contract;
iii) any claim in respect of which the customer has failed to give ddraigdu reasonable opportunity for investigation, or in which the customer has not complied with any request by ddraigdu for the return of any goods carriage paid to ddraigdu;
iv) any indirect or consequential loss or damage suffered by the customer in connection with any contract including but not limited to loss of profits, business revenue, goodwill or expected savings, wasted time or expenditure or any claim by any person.
c) Mrs Norman/ddraigdu reserves the right to refuse to sell any e-books, to admit individuals to courses, or to shut courses down once a class is full.
d) ddraigdu reseves the right to expel students or discontinue to teach students if ddraigdu feels that the student is acting irresponsibly, disrespectfully or is disregarding their duty of care to themself, others or the Energies involved. If ddraigdu feels the need to expel a student or to discontinue teaching a student, said student will recieve a refund only for the materials and teaching they have not yet recieved. Fees for teaching and materials already provided will not be refunded.
e) ddraigdu's liability in connection with any goods/e-books/course materials shall in no circumstances exceed their invoice value. ddraigdu shall be discharged of all liability in respect of any transaction to which these conditions apply, whether in contract, tort (including negligence and breach of statutory duty) or otherwise . Any condition which conflicts with any material law, regulation or decision shall be curtailed and limited only to the extent necessary to bring it within the legal requirements or cost of materials, whichever is lower and otherwise continue in full force and effect.
8. Cancellation and Transfers
a) the acceptance of any cancellation or transfer requested by the customer shall be at ddraigdu's discretion. There will be costs incurred in transfers and cancellations. Please ask if you require further details.
a) those who have purchased the e-books can if they so wish upgrade to take the course, the fee to do this is the difference between the e-book and the course. Please contact me if you wish to upgrade.
9. Force Majeure
a) ddraigdu shall not be liable for any delay or other failure to perform the whole or any part of the contract resulting from any cause whatsoever beyond ddraigdu's control including but not limited to fire, explosion, breakdown or failure of machinery, lack or failure of transportation facilities, supply of labour, materials, power or supplies, illness, epidemic, flood, drought, war, civil commotion, or restriction of any authority or governmental agency.
10. Law, Jurisdiction and Construction
a) The contract shall be governed by the Law of England and Wales and the customer consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales in all matters regarding such contracts except to the extent ddraigdu invokes the jurisdiction of the courts of any other country.
b) The headings of conditions are for convenience of reference only and shall not affect their interpretation.
11. Notices
a) Any notice to be given under any contract shall be in writing and forwarded by first class pre-paid letter post to the receiving party at its business address as last notified in writing to the other party and shall be deemed to have been given two days after the date of posting as the case may be.
