ddraigdu is about providing interesting and enlightening holistic and metaphysical courses at an affordable price.
ddraigdu is Welsh for black dragon, I chose the name as I am half Welsh, and because the Dragon is symbolic of Earth Energies. I have always been interested in the Healing Powers of Crystals and Stone Circles and am a Qualified Crystal Healing Practitioner.
I developed an interest in the metaphysical at a very young age. I have been interested in spirituality and Holistic therapies ever since I can remember.
In my top year of Junior School we had a class teacher who was a member of the Canadian Cree Nation, she taught us so much about Native American Culture and Spirituality, we even had a daily meditation time. Although the Native American path is not my path it pointed me in the right direction. Shortly after I began to look at the Native Celtic Culture and Spirituality of Britain and at the Heathen Tradition of Scandinavia. I am and have been for many years a practising Druid, and am a member of The British Druid Order. In 2004 I completed training in Celtic Reiki and in 2007 I completed training with Dragon Reiki. My qualifications are a Degree in History and English, a Diploma in Crystal Healing, Aromatherapy and Rune Divination and I have been reading the Runes since I was ten and divining with Ogham since I was fifteen. I am a Registered Healer with the International Natural Healers Association.
My other interests include Photography, making Jewellery, Aromatherapy, Feng Shui, Yoga, singing, and trying to be a better person. I am fortunate enough to married to my soulmate. I live near the seaside, which makes me really happy! I love being by the sea, it helps me to realise we are all part of something bigger.
